Why nose filling treatment?
With a rhinoplasty with a filler based on the body’s own hyaluronic acid, lumps, indentations, or other irregularities in your nose or nose can usually be removed very well. Our doctors are trained, for example, to correct a crooked nose bridge or a protrusion on the bridge of the nose with a filler. The effect of this treatment is immediate and lasts for about a year.
Also, almost no one knows that ears and noses continue to grow throughout our lives. This can cause your nose tip to elongate as it is. The tip of your nose will then drop down. With some filling to the tip of the nose, the nose will stand up again. Little effort, big fun!
Treatment
It is important to map your health before rhinoplasty with fillers. We also take photos for your personal file. It is important to be ready for the anesthetic cream 30 minutes before the treatment. Finally, you must give permission for treatment. The treatment itself takes only a few minutes and is carried out with a needle or cannula. After your doctor massages the area, you can cool your nose for a while.

In filled rhinoplasty, some filler is sprayed on the places where the nose is less flat. You don’t have to worry about the nose getting bigger. We use hyaluronic acid filler for this treatment and this provides a natural result. Another advantage of hyaluronic acid fillers is that they can be melted when necessary. Before and after treatment
Before Treatment
We kindly ask you to be present half an hour before the treatment so that we can apply numbing cream. To prevent bruises: Our recommendation is that you do not use blood thinners such as Aspirin, Naproxen or Ibuprofen 5 days before the nasal filling treatment, possibly in consultation with your doctor, and do not drink alcohol 48 hours before. Stop taking all vitamins, fish oil and nutritional supplements five days before treatment. You can start with Arnica drops (highest dose) 5 days before treatment.
After Treatment
Doctors recommend not to go out in the sun for the first week, not to use sauna and solarium. We recommend that you stay away from peeling, laser or other facial care applications for the first two weeks after filled rhinoplasty. In the first hours after the application, it is not allowed to apply make-up on the application area.
Recovery time
Bruising and swelling in the nose are rare. You could rightly call this treat a lunch treat.

When am I suitable for nose treatment?
If you have a swelling in your nose or a dent in your nose, you may be suitable for this treatment. In your particular case, your nose can also be corrected if technically possible. What we can’t do is make your nose smaller. Unfortunately, we cannot treat you with fillers even after nose surgery.
Can you change the shape of your nose?
Yes, we can replace it if there is a bump or dent. We can’t shrink the nose.
